Tugain is used to stabilise hair loss in males and to stimulate hair growth in places where hair is thinning, however it should not be used to treat frontal baldness or a receding hairline. Tugain is most helpful when hair loss is new or recent, and there are tiny regions of vertex hair loss.

- Tugain 5 percent Solution is a vasodilator, which is a type of medication. It is used to stimulate hair growth in individuals suffering from male pattern baldness.
- Tugain 5% Solution should only be applied to the scalp in the amount and manner recommended on the label or by your doctor. Before applying it, make sure your scalp is clean and dry. It may take 2 to 4 months before you observe any hair growth. The first growth may be faint, colorless, and hardly discernible. Excessive use will not accelerate hair growth and may raise the chance of adverse effects. This medicine must be used on a regular basis in order to keep hair growing. Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens after 4 to 6 months of use.
- Tugain 5% Solution is usually safe and acceptable for the majority of individuals, although it may have some possible adverse effects. This medication’s most common adverse effects include itching and skin irritation in the treated region of the scalp.
